Riptide arrives home to find Michael badly beaten she puts out a distress call to the other members of Youngblood but it goes unanswered as the others are too busy dealing with their own problems. Badrock is arrested and begins to mutate as spikes start to grow out of his body. Keever gathers the others to talk about Dredd they agree Dredd must have something to do with their recent misfortunes. Shaft goes to confront Dredd but is quickly defeated by him as the comic ends.
