  I can't say enough good things about this series so far. Cool, brutal artwork compliments a fascinating and entertaining story. It feels like a horror version of Quantum Leap! Issue 4 takes us on a heck of a ride through Russian history with sex, violence, and a ton of lost souls! We can see Violator disassociating from Earth and humans more and more. He's a hilariously horrible Anti-Hero at this point who is falling further into the "Anti" part. The various art teams continue to impress and I can't wait to see what they come up with next!   So its a bit of a disappointment given what Andreyko could have gone for in a much more sophisticated dramatic sense. The superficial engagement with history is kind of fun, but it would have been a lot more interesting to see the Violator in the body of Rasputin casually working his way through in-depth dialogues that get into the nature of morality, mortality and so much more from the perspective of some ancient monster.
