  There is a huge mid-story reveal here that I would love to extol the virtues of from both the writing and artistic points of view but Id rather leave the spoiler out of the review and simply insist that you check this story out. Neither exactly what youd expect, nor more than is necessary to tell a beautifully-crafted short story, Trigger Girl 6 is the perfect addition to your read pile this week, especially if you want to read a damn good sci-fi story featuring one kickass lady taking on a mission way more important than she could have imagined.   Behind The Panels - Richard Gray

  The opening pages feature several nude shots, but they aren't there for titillation. Instead they show the innocent beauty of a creation before it turns into one of humankind's (kick ass) creations. His colours are delicately applied, with most of the scenery gorgeous. As a bonus, we get some backmatter that includes interviews, concept sketches, cover art and even shots of a model in cosplay. They really have thought of everything. Read Full Review

  At $5.99 Trigger Girl 6 doesn't come cheap but it's effectively a double-length comic (46 story pages and a backup feature including bonus artwork) which has the added advantage of being a completed and cathartic story with some positive morals at its core. If that's not enough to persuade you, Noto's artwork surely places it amongst the most beautiful comics released this week. Read Full Review

  By the end of the issue there is a twist and a resolution that can be read as either inspirational or idealistic. The writers allow their ideological intentions to propel the story, and this prevents it from being innovative or adding meaningful discourse. Expect a story that matches each fresh creative element with an unoriginal one. It ends up being a little too "easy" to be truly fulfilling, but definitely worth a look. Read Full Review
