Debbie is torn apart emotionally throughout, Dent is a single-minded monster and the world will never be the same again. It's a hell of a cliffhanger to leave fans on because the next arc doesn't arrive until the spring. Murphy was a spectacular choice to do the art for this series. He focuses on the detail and doesn't waste a page. Remender has written so many wonderful titles including Black Science, Deadly Class, and Low. Tokyo Ghost is just another book I cannot wait to read in my stack and I look forward to to month after month. Read Full Review

This issue managed to wrap the first chapter up in a way that isn't necessarily as neat and nuanced as the book started, but still managed to be fun and leave us satisfied. Oh and Sean Murphy's artwork makes miracles, so there's that, too. Read Full Review

Tokyo Ghost's first arc reaches its literally explosive conclusion, Rick Remender and Sean Murphy ratcheting their frenetic dial up to 11. The resulting read is loaded with (again literal) eye-popping spectacle, even if the overall impact of the finale remains to be seen. Read Full Review

This is shaping up to be one of my favourite Rick Remender works of all time. I don't think anything will ever beat Seven to Eternity for me, but this may be a very close second. The writing and art are both at absolute peak quality. Nothing bad to say about this series so far.
