    The Walking Dead finally feels like it might go in a bold and interesting direction after being reallystale for a big chunk of time. Kirkman is pushing the ideological conflict between the two communities really hard and it's starting to look like there might be a good story hidden in there. Hopefully, he won't disappoint.     Rather than linger any longer on questions of ambiguity, The Walking Dead has embraced didacticism and is using the same approach that has worked for horror and war to something much more political. Watching it unfold is undeniably interesting at the very least. Read Full Review

    The latest chapter of The Walking Dead #183 makes some significant steps towards addressing the series' recent mistakes. The consistent focus on Michonne is appreciated, as is the emphasis on exploring the darker side of life in the Commonwealth. The political allegory is a little too heavy-handed to completely work, but at least the series is restring a sense of danger and unease again. Read Full Review
