Sometimes, more really is better. The Walking Dead has certainly benefited from the fallout of "The Whisperer War," as our heroes continue to fight a losing battle against thousands of zombies and now find themselves dealing with more unwanted complications. This issue is very suspenseful and reminds readers that no character is truly safe from the undead. Read Full Review

The pacing picks up a bit in this issue, as the situation with the horde of zombies and the Saviors continues to heighten. Will Negan side with the Saviors and take his rightful place as their leader, or will he fight alongside Rick? We'll find out soon. After what happened in the final page of this issue, I can't wait for issue 166! Read Full Review

The Walking dead is the same thing all over again. Good people find shelter, bad people find the good people, bad people and good people fight each other, good people (mostly died) and repeat...The writing is good even though the monologues are somewhat repetitive, the art is excellent but after all these years it has been a lot of the same formula over and over again with cliffhanger after cliffhanger and fake hype like "this event will change the world"(TV show has the same fate). For me the best run was until the prison-governor arc (#1 - #80)one of the best arcs ever). After that the series gotten a bit stale but it was still very good. Then Kirkman introduced a caricature villain (Negan) who is mostly popular because he's edgy and swea more
