Sep 16, 2015This issue starts off a bit slow, but it picks up really quickly. Kirkman not only writes about the recent deaths, but how they have affected everyone around them. The plot tells us a lot about Rick’s leadership problems and a lot of personality clashes. This is definitely a book for all The Walking Dead fans. Read Full Review

Sep 11, 2015This issue might be a bit slow, but it shows clear crack in Rick's leadership, and there's no going back for these survivors. Read Full Review

Sep 09, 2015The Walking Dead continues to be one of the best books to come out each month. Robert Kirkman is a wizard with his pen and keeps finding ways to keep us hooked. The art for this book continues to be close to perfect. There is a reason why this comic continues to be a top seller month after month and it has everything to do with the creative team. Sep 11, 2015Yet this issue feels a little lifeless, as it is a transition piece between what happened two issues ago and what comes next. Read Full Review

Sep 10, 2015This issue of The Walking Dead gets off o a slow start as the series continues hammering home the tragedy of the recent massacre. Luckily, once it does get going the plot offers a compelling look at Rick's latest leadership crisis and a clash between two series mainstays. Read Full Review

Fox Force Five News - Keven Skinner
Sep 11, 2015The dialogue from Eugene to end the chapter was especially satisfying and it poses some interesting options for upcoming issues. This war with the whisperers isn't going to be "All Out" like it was with Negan and the Saviors. I'm predicting some small and nasty concentrated conflict between the two groups at first and if Eugene's plan is any indication it's going to lead to some extremely uncomfortable moments between Carl and his pops. ComicList - Brandon Borzelli
Sep 12, 2015"Walking Dead" provides an issue that features a battle between Maggie and Rick as the overall leadership of the group seems to hang in the balance. The comic uses silent pages to open the book and provide a somber memorial for those that have fallen. The emotional impact isn't as big as it could be because so many of the these characters were under developed. The comic feels like an issue that is too long for the story that Kirkman is telling: who is fit to lead. I recommend checking this out but this isn't as strong of an issue as this series generally churns out. Read Full Review
