Rhymes With Geek - The Death Of Comics

    Jun 11, 2014

If you are a fan of action movies, cop banter, leprechauns, cowboys, humor, bright colors, front facing characters, and someone possibly being a robot, then That's Because You're a Robot is for you. If you are a fan of none of those things then that's because you're a robot. Its amusing, it looks marvelous, and it might make you smile and that's all anyone can ask for. 9/10. Read Full Review

This comic was great. Best humor publication I’ve read since The Eltingville Club. Probably the best comic I’ve reviewed since The Eltingville Cub. Get this one. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Sam Roche

I liked it quite a bit. Although it may not be the most elavating comic out there, the kookiness of That's Because You're A Robot charmed the hell out of me. Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Craig Neilson

This may not be a style that works for everyone, but it definitely works for me. So if you feel like having your brain melted and your retinas scorched, then this is a title you owe it to yourself to pick up. And if not? Well thats probably because youre a robot. Read Full Review

Coming Up Comics - David Melton

    Jun 10, 2014

Get this. Just so you can show it to your friends later and tell them how insane it is. This is one of those comics that if a kid just randomly picked it up, it would be what bringshim into this world that we all love; the world of reading comic books. Read Full Review

    Multiversity Comics - Michelle White

    Jun 12, 2014

In the end, this doesn't feel like a one-shot; it doesn't hold together as a compressed capsule and doesn't offer any final revelations. But if this issue is actually a dry run for a miniseries, it's all we can do to hope that miniseries happens. Quantick and Kane might be an oil-and-water mix, but this collaboration makes for an unusual texture that could grow into something great if it had time to develop. In the mean time, this is an entertaining " if unusually-structured " jaunt; and if it doesn't quite capitalize on its premise, the weirdness-to-page ratio is still through the roof. Capeless Crusader - Jesse Quick-Rincon

All in all this comic kind of reminds me ofAxe Cop ()and if you follow my recommendations you might think it would be right up my alley. But the funny thing is thatAxe Copactually has more of a cohesive storyline than this thing does. I mean its hard to criticize something that is so obviously not taking itself seriously and normally I would let it play the just for fun card all night. But the fact is this isnt some silly webcomic, this is a thirty page, FOUR dollar comic and thats probably the biggest problem with it. There is nothing wrong with it as a silly comic but for how long it is and how little it manages to do with that length, you realize you are cutting out a more fulfilling, real comic. That makes it hard to recommend. But then the art is really, really good. Read Full Review

Comic Book City Podcast - Mitchell

I don't regret getting it, but if a friend had the story, I would probably just have borrowed it. It does look like it nearly sold out, so if you want to drop the cash, maybe it'll be a good choice. At the end of the day, I didn't love this story, but I do like it. But hey, maybe I'm a robot" Read Full Review

Florida Geek Scene - Brian Reed

This is Axe Cop bad without any of what makes Axe Cop lovable. Axe Cop can be this bad because a it's pure and simple and directly from the mind of a kid. This is just bad, there's no excuse for it. Cheesy one-liners galore, nonsensical story line, terribly simple artwork, it just doesn't add up. Thank god, it's a one shot. Save your money.
