MINISERIES PREMIERE
When Jonathan Reason falls asleep, he becomes...something else. Every night, it stalks his quiet town, killing (seemingly) indiscriminately. When he wakes, covered in blood, our story begins. This new horror mystery from ZANDER CANNON (Heck, Top 10, Kaijumax) shows us the horrifying waking hours of an unwilling part-time killer.

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

    May 24, 2025

Its a fun opening to a potentially impressive series. With so much of the basic story still shrouded in mystery, the readers imagination is fully engaged at the outset of the story. The challenge for Cannon moving forward is going to lie in maintaining the readers attention while revealing bits of the mystery. If it DOES end-up being just another werewolf-like story, Cannons going to have to do a little bit more to sell it given how much potential the series is exhibiting in the opening issue. With a good strong setup and even stronger visual language, it's worth it not to sleep on Sleep. Sleep #1 sets up an intriguing mystery, and evokes a bit of 90s nostalgia without being too over the top about it. Read Full Review

    Nerd Initiative - Mickey Smith

    May 21, 2025

Sleep sets the tone for what will be an interesting tale. This issue starts out with an odd awakening and then moves into a normal day, only to become odd again as Johnathan gets closer to sleep. This story is methodical and deep. This read is for the person looking for something more than "wow, that's cool! This one has layers and I can't wait to peel them and see what's inside!
