Seven to Eternity #8 is not a jumping on point by any stretch of the imagination so do yourself a favor and please go out to grab some back issues along the way to fully enjoy this book! Because what we have here is a daring adventure wrapped up in an engaging fantasy that just demands the attention of fanboys and fangirls. So by all means, add this title to your pull-list. I had no problems with this issue and thought that it matched the tone and direction of the previous arcs, but I do get that people hate this departure from the main storyline. My argument against any dislike for this issue is that this was important character development for several characters that would have died if the issue had just moved on.

The story is moving forward and the characters continue to be evolved. Love how fast paced and still rich in story this book is.

Still Good. The story and characters are layered. Peeling the onion oh wait! Wrong book. Harren is good but Opena is in a different league.

I'm reading the TBP (so I don't see who worked on each issue), but the art on this issue was so half-assed, I had to look up if the artist was completely different (it was) or if Opena was working on a severely abbreviated timeline. Very disappointing and noticeable dip in quality.
