Revival #23 is a fantastic wrap-up to this arc, paving the way for some truly fascinating and shocking stories in the future as it brings to a close several storylines. The writing is top-notch, the characters are fantastic, and the artwork continues to shine. What more is there to say about the issue? Definitely check it out (or if you are behind, just wait to grab the trade next month) so you can be ready for the upcoming fifth arc as spring finally arrives in Wisconsin" Read Full Review

Mike Norton and Mark Englert deserves a ton of praise for their consistent and wonderful artwork; twenty-three issues deep and the book still looks amazing. Oh, and Jenny Frison's cover is one of the best of 2014. Revival #23 was made to crack your pull list. Read Full Review

Even with so many great new titles that Image pumps out week after week, REVIVAL continue to be one of my favorite books to read. The creative team of Seeley, Norton, and Frison continue to deliver an extraordinary series that gets stronger and more compelling with each issue. I have said it twice now and will say it again; this is one of the best collaborative teams in the business, and consistently one of Image Comics best written and illustrated ongoing graphic novels. Though I've been dying to know more about the Glowing Man/ghosts/demons, it feels like "Revival" is getting closer to that mystery at the right time. "Revival #23 is another excellent issue in a wonderful series. Read Full Review

    Unleash The Fanboy - Edward

All in all, this issue suggests a slight improvement for the series. If it manages to build on all these promises there is great potential, but Revival as a title has had it's peaks and falls before. Read Full Review

    Infinite Comix - Jonathan Bryant

Regardless, Revival #23 continues the longstanding series tradition of compelling character development and increasingly dense layers of mystery"for every answer given, two more questions are posed. Though the impending spring threatens to reveal even more secrets of the snowy town of Wausau, the central mystery of the series (the identity of Martha's killer) remains unsolved. Though Wausau is unlikely to make any shortlists of tourist attractions, this puzzling but entertaining conclusion to the book's fourth arc proves that it remains a difficult place to leave. I started reading Revival in trade paperback format around Christmas last year and since then it has been one of my favorites due to its very compelling subject matter. While this is by no means the series best issue, if youve been enjoying this series, youll enjoy this issue, even more if you manage to do a better job unjumbling the narrative than I did. As I said before though, if you arent already reading Revival, do yourself a favour, dont start here, pick up the first trade instead. Read Full Review
