Redneck continues its almost supernatural consistency here, providing a violent and dramatic look at warring families and the bonds of blood. Oh, and one of the families just so happen to be vampires. Redneck is a gripping read. I have become so emotionally invested in these characters that I go through each issue with bated breath and clenched fists. How can they possibly get out of this situation alive? It's clear that their escape and survival will only come with more bloodshed...a lot more. I just hope Landry is on the receiving end of that because he's become a heinous creature that deserves every bit of violence coming his way. Read Full Review

Redneck #9 brings a tale that quickly absorbs the reader and doesnt let go until the final page. Donny Cates continues to prove his ability to tell a compelling occult story, and the artistic of Estherren and Cunniffe keep the visuals appropriately grimy and bloody. "Redneck" is not your average vampire story...by focusing on character and the family and the mysteries of Perry and Grandpa, the creators are giving this supernatural tale a more grounded, impactful feel. Donny Cates is burning it up on all his titles the past year...for any fans of his Marvel work, this is a must read.
