Prophet #26

There's no denying that Prophet is one of the best books out right now. Graham's vision (and especially the last few pages in this issue) would make Jack Kirby a very happy man. This is meant to be a strange experience that rewards the reader with glimpses of alien worlds unlike anything in our reality. If that doesn't sound like something you are interested in, that's fine. But if it tickles your fancy in the slightest, pick up an issue. Read Full Review

For people who have only read Graham's earlier "Prophet" issues and never seen any of his other comics, I suspect this issue will be an eye-opener. For fans of his other comics like "King City" and "Multiple Warheads," it's a welcome return. No matter which end of the spectrum you are in, it's a victory. (And that's not even including the dazzlingly beautiful -- if slightly bonkers -- back-up story written and drawn by Emma Rios, which is short and sweet and eye-popping.)
