    Geekality - Julius Freeman

The first two issues were a slow start, but the book has definitely picked up and I highly recommend picking up the series before you miss out on " what appears will be " an explosive ending. After all, it's only four issues. Usually, books of this size tend to be dense in their delivery, but not this series. It's just the right amount of story for us to properly digest it. Overall, however, "Point of Impact" is keeping admirably stylistically consistent in terms of both storytelling and art, and as a whole seems indicative of a strong and unified vision on the creators' part. Meanwhile " lack of character development notwithstanding " the solid new plot developments that occur in this issue make it feel like the best instalment yet. Get this one in single issues if you can " the cliffhangers (and there definitely is one here) suit the format wonderfully. Read Full Review

    Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal

I really hope that the conclusion knocks my socks off. I don’t see how it couldn’t, considering how solid the series has been, but you never know. This issue is placing the series in a fantastic spot to wrap and proves yet again that you can tell great stories in black and white as long as you have great art and a great story. Again, if you missed this series do yourself a favor and pick up the first two issues either digitally or in the back issue bin at your comic shop. Read Full Review

We've got murder, mystery, and mounting police pressure, as well as two men in love with the same dead woman trying to avenge her death, while at the same time dealing with their own devastations. It's a solid, involving pulp story well worth checking out. Read Full Review

Comics oft disappoint " key to avoiding such feelings of discontent is to follow creators rather than titles. Make Jay Faerber was one of these creators " he's crafting 'good comics'. Read Full Review
