    Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig

Otis Frampton really brings Oddly to life in Fignation but more importantly Fignation's world, creatures, and overall attitude come alive. Frampton throws us a lot of different creatures that are equally awesome. I think my favorite is the little dude that burps really loud. See Frampton not only gives you a cute story, but he throws us a lot of little humor. It makes all ages laugh. Again, another reason why kids will like this comic. It is highly entertaining while still telling having a theme. So with an awesome story, a creative world, and a little girl trying to find magic, Oddly Normal couldn't be more cool! Read Full Review

Oddly Normal #4 is another good issue of the series, but it could benefit from maybe moving on with the story or develop some areas more. That said, the writing is still pretty strong and the artwork looks great as ever. I still definitely recommend for kids, but I don't see many adults getting much out of the series, at least at this point. Read Full Review

Such fun and engaging artwork. Not much story in this one issue, but a decent set up for more to come. This feels like one worth following for a good, fun, light read. Read Full Review

"Oddly Normal" is turning out a bit more "normal" than expected, but it's well-executed, easy to like and energetically paced. In future issues, I'd love for Frampton to take the implications of his world and really see where they go, but for now, "Oddly Normal" is quite pleasant. Read Full Review
