Unleash The Fanboy - Daniel Alvarez
Jan 09, 2013Overall, another great issue of Non-Humans. With just two issues to go, the story is moving pretty quickly, but not too quickly that the characters lack development. Aimes gets some pretty good backstory, and there's quite a few unexpected twists. Plus, when you see how the antagonist in the end connects with Aimes, you're going to be like, "Wow"that's very good." Non-Humans is easily becoming one of the best mini-series from Image. Jan 13, 2013Despite the flaws in the characters and the artwork and my inability to think of this series as simply a mini-series and not an ongoing one, Non-Humans #2 is a solid title with tons of fascinating exposition which does make it feel like you get your money's worth content-wise. Jan 09, 2013I dont know if Whilce Portacio is a fan of the work of Steve Ditko, but I noticed a Ditko-like tone to the overall artwork. I once heard Ditkos work on the early Spiderman issues described as other-worldly, and I think that term could easily apply to Portacios work on this book. As for the script, my opinions are always based on my own readings of the books I review, but when Mark Waid says this book is a good read, I definitely paid attention. I think NonHumans is a title that should be watched and read just to see where it will take us. Read Full Review
