Like a great HBO drama, the creative team for No/One have you captivated in finding out how the decisions each character makes cause a ripple effect in everything going on in this series. No/One #3 ramps up things up to create a more significant investment in the characters and world. It all makes the brief moments when we do get action in this series resonate even more. Weakest issue, but I get why. There is a lot of build-up needed in this issue to continue to move forward. That being said it isnt bad at all. It does what is needs to do and drops more info/builds up more to get things moving in the next issues. Get ready to do lots of reading. The mystery builds as we are given more info.

Have to say that I was taken back a bit, and somewhat let down even. It was overly heavy on the dialogue (imo)—don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind reading but thought it went on and on and on. In the end, it was just ‘all right’, it moved the story forward but not that far. Hoping for better in #4, a book that captures the interest I found in #1.
