"MISERY TRAIN," Part One
"Torpedo" Lou Pirlo thought his troubles might be over when he and his new girl, Delia, hopped a boxcar headed south-as far and as fast as they could get away from the hillbillies in Appalachia and the mafia killers in New York City.

But trouble has a habit of sticking to Lou, and instead of finding himself on "Big Rock Candy Mountain," he's on a down-bound train, last stop: The Big Easy, New Orleans. And trouble ain't all that's stuck to Lou. See, Lou got bit by a werewolf, and now the most deadly monster hunter on Earth will stop at nothing to put this dog down.

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson

While the story did not grab my attention much in Moonshine #7, the art had me hanging on each and every page. I feel like they dropped the ball not having a recap page, as the series has been on hiatus for almost a year. I think this would have helped continuingreaders and would have definitelybeen a plus if a new reader decided to jump on with this issue. Even though I have my problems with the story, it does set up some interesting plot points as the series continues. Read Full Review

    Spock's Brain

"Moonshine" is back, and, I must say I am somewhat baffled by the events here, it's been so long on hiatus. Welcome to modern comics. The creators have got to get the reader back in tune with the plot and characters, something not really effectively done here. Russo's art is beautiful, and the book succeeds in mood/atmosphere, but I wasn't floored like I feel I should be after a book with this caliber of creator.
