Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson

    May 16, 2018

Moonshine#10 is probably the best issue of this second story arc. Things are finally starting to happen and the story feels like it is coming together more. I like what Azzarello is doing. I just wish it was paced a little bit better. Eduardo Risso continues to be wonderful with the art. Moonshine may have dipped a little bit in the past few issues but it looks like the full moon is about to rise again! Read Full Review

    Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison

    May 15, 2018

Moonshine #10 is an intriguing Prohibition Era comic with a supernatural twist which serves to hold up an engaging Coen Brothers-esque read. Brian Azzarello does solid work on this one, and Eduardo Rissos artwork brings the comic to life well. This one gets a recommendation. Check it out this Wednesday. Read Full Review

    Spock's Brain

This is a terribly paced, plodding storyline, and I am not even sure what's going on because it seems Azzarello is giving us plot scraps rather than anything coherent. The issue ended well, but I'm still lost. I loved "100 Bullets," but this series has been seriously underwhelming. Rizzo's art is great, but I have taken to think of reading this as a chore when I see it in my pile, which can't be good.
