Jul 07, 2023Monstress continues to be a thing of terrible beauty that is drawn straight out of another realm in ways that so many other comics are only attempting. The darkness is overwhelming, and the heroism of the central characters rests on a towering level as they confront so much on so many levels...many of them scarcely able to be articulated in any kind of coherent language. Comic Crusaders - Antonio Rodriguez
Jul 10, 2023It's not a perfect comic by any means but it is a fun read. However, this is one of those comics that I would wait to get the TPB instead of reading individual issues, and that way I can get a mouthful of this story instead of nibbling away at a very interesting albeit complex story.
