‘Monarch' #2 builds off the solid foundation building of the first issue in order to flesh out this new world even more, throwing in quite a bit of lore about our potential series foes but also the main character of it all. It's not a concept that is not familiar, but it's interesting. Very different from issue 1. Curious to what the endgame in a story like this would be.
