Especially since I've been a bit ambivalent about Bulletproof in his replacement Invincible role, I'm perfectly happy to have Kirkman keep Robot and Monster Girl in the spotlight as long as he wants. This is one superhero universe that isn't lacking in scope or sheer variety. Read Full Review

If you are an Invincible fan, this is an insightful read. I, however, don't read much Invincible. So for me it was average, and this review is the product of reading a few back issues and researching the characters since I didn't know as much as I should about them. Read Full Review

Maybe it's just me but when you start telling me the story with narration and them concurrently show me the same story in pictures you better be doing more with those boxes than just reiterating what I'm looking at. It's redundant and a device that a writer with as much experience as Robert Krikman should have either avoided or made damn sure was done right, with the narration and pictures telling two separate but different stories that give significant insight into one another. Cory Walker does a great job taking over the art duties because I honestly couldn't tell Ryan Ottley didn't work on the entire book. I would love to see Cory bring in more of his own style but I can't knock him for not fixing something that isn't broken. Read Full Review

So Amanda has a pee-pee in her monster form... Niiiiiiice... But still, it's kinda dumb she just ruined everything, even made Rex to believe he was wrong, but then just crapped her pants when things got ugly as Rex predicted... And he still loves her. Yeah, it's kinda hard to lose connection to someone you was together with for hundreds of years, no matter what they do to you. But it's just meh...
