Weekly Comic Book Review - Alex Evans

    Jun 23, 2009

One of the best single issues of Invincible, this is without a doubt the biggest shocker/development since Omni-Man revealed his true nature. The series seems to be ready to take a darker turn, and I'm all for it. I'm just not sure if I'm emotionally prepared for what's to come. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Stephen Schleicher

Simply put, Invincible #63 is a shocking one, not from some held back reveal that promised to rock the comic book community to its core, but in how that story plays out in the pages. Truly dynamic storytelling and art, make this a must read issue for anyone interested in what is going on in the Image Universe, and a can't miss issue for Invincible fans. Read Full Review

    Comics Bulletin - Shawn Hill

    Jun 20, 2009

Let's see. Plot-wise in this issue, Atom Eve wakes up and rush's to Mark's aid. Invinciboy also tries to help, and is nearly killed. The hero coordinator does his best to remove the bodies from the field, while Eve and Mark are overwhelmed by the gloating and talkative Conquest. That's plenty, but it's also one long similar note, and Otterly sustains it with more than a few three panel pages. Some stories are denser than this. But few are as visceral. Read Full Review
