The careful reminder of the families and loved ones of our cast in this issue has me worried that we're about to see ten issues of righteous slaughter, but I still enjoyed the whole issue. I even felt bad to see Terra Grayson in tears that her parents were going off with the Coalition, but didn't feel horribly manipulated by it, which is both rare and wonderful. Invincible #134 sets up the conflict, reminds us of the stakes, gives us several very important character moments and brings back the costumes (ATOM EVE COSTUME! WOOT!). Read Full Review

I really liked this issue as the characters all recognize their responsibility, coming face to face with the idea of losing all they have because fighting is the right thing, the only thing to do. A character heavy issue, I found this quite charming (as was the return of the original costumes!).

I think Mark forgave Allen way too quickly and way too easily, especially after their fight last issue. I mean...the guy got Mark's brother killed while using Mark, Eve, and their young daughter as bait to draw out the single most powerful person in the universe, and he wants to claim that he didn't think anyone would get hurt? BS. Honestly, f#@k Allen. I liked him, but I've lost virtually all respect for him now.
