Invincible #130 gives us some good set-up because the next issue looks to be where we get the pay-off from Mark pushing his luck avoiding the problems that are indirectly his whether he likes it or not. Read Full Review

Even though I miss regular penciller Ryan Ottley, this issue looks great, continuing to unfold the mysteries of the future world and Mark's new life as mostly retired father. It suffers a bit from the regular complaint about Invincible; i.e. that some issues feel like they're meandering stories to fill the time between bloodbaths, but even a meandering story can be compelling, and this one is. Invincible #130 is not really a good or bad issue, but not entirely necessary for people to read unless they are completionists. Most of the issue deals with Mark being uneasy with Rex's role as the most beloved person on planet Earth. Read Full Review
