Hardcore #4

Overall, Hardcore #4 is still a roller coaster of adrenaline and questions. Readers will still be on the edge of their seats to see how Agent Drake manages to pull through and hopefully be able to reclaim his body before time runs out. To readers that are looking for some great action, military tones, maybe even a fan of the earlier series of Hardcore, I would highly suggest that you pick up this issue and give it a read. With only its fourth issue to hit comic stands, Hardcore continues to be a must-read book for fans willing (or looking) for an alternative to the tried and true world of superheroes. The only question that remains: How will Drake survive what Diggle concocts next? Read Full Review

The story comes to an end with Hardcore #5 due to come out at the end of April. Diggle can go whichever direction he wants with this. Although Drake has potential, there's no reason to keep him alive " which should make for a wild ride in the finale. Read Full Review

Ignoring the shockingly dull all-action car chase #2, Hardcore has been an entertaining series so far, and #4 builds on this. Indeed, there is more depth to this issue and it feels like things are being set up for a much more involved story moving forwards. I hop this is so, as there is great potential here.
