    The heroes are bold. The bad people are BAD. The women are exotic and beautiful. And the action is white knuckle. Five Ghosts is and continues to be a masterful piece of amazing with a side of awesome added in. If you are not reading it, you need to be because you are missing out.     Five Ghosts blazes a trail through what I like to call a pulp revival. There are so few comics out there that take us to beautiful locales, treat us to engaging complicated characters, and have thrilling adventures with larger than life supernatural elements.     At issue's end, I am so excited for the lady pirate with a ghost of her own to appear. Not only does she seem like a great character, but she deepens the mythology of the dreamstones. How did she get her ghost? Is it Sinbad? Is Fabian going to wake up? Despite my complaints about the issue, it's geared the series up for a winning Issue #10 " and with serial storytelling, sometimes that's the most important thing for an issue to accomplish.
