Five Ghosts #6

The nice thing here is that Five Ghosts is ongoing now. And if this first issue is any indicator, then I think Five Ghosts will definitely be around for a while. I can't wait for issue eight. The final pages of the book offer an exciting tease about whats to come in the future. After this issue youll be certain that Five Ghosts is capable of just about anything. For most books this would be worrisome. However, for this book its the most exciting thing possible. I have no idea what part of the world well be traveling to next, but Im certain it will be a thrilling ride. Five Ghosts is back and I couldnt be happier. Overall, it's good to see this mini-series has been given the green light to move forward as an ongoing title. Barbiere and company do great work in delivering a story that participates in a long tradition of heroic adventures, and it is one that even newer readers should be able to pick up and follow along without too much difficulty " though the trade edition of Issues #1-5 just came out, so it is well worth picking that up as well to stay current with this series. I think I've made it pretty clear: “Five Ghosts” #6 is some good comics, laying out a beautifully blocked story with gobsmacking art. It's also pretty heartening to see a great miniseries continuing on in high style, but even if you didn't check out the miniseries, this is a great moment to hop on. "Five Ghosts" combines the best elements of "Indiana Jones" and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" for an exciting romp through literary history and the power of imagination. While Frank J. In fact, cinematic would be the best word to describe this comic as a whole. While there isn't a tremendous sense of depth (in this issue, at least), Fabian Gray is an undoubtedly intriguing protagonist, and the title has a sense of swashbuckling grandeur to it that I absolutely loved. Overall, it is a good story with bad art. My rating system is based on 5 points for story, and 5 points for art. I give the story a 4 and the art a 1.3. Some may view it as harsh, but it makes the most sense to rate a comic on equal parts story and art. Five Ghosts #6 is a comic published by Image comics and was released October 30, 2013. I think this was a good first issue for the on going series. Not quite up to the level of the first five, but that's to be expected. This is a comic that has a lot of potential, is fun and exciting, and gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

As product this book rates higher for its high page count, pulp feel and done-in-one story. But the guest artist does not impress and the art can be downright ugly at times. I have high hopes for this series, but the writer needs to do a bit better at avoiding stereotypes and repetitious, weak dialog.
