  Theoretically there's a very cool premise at the heart of the series that seems a bit too modeled by aspirations towards anything bigger. In theory, there could be one or two sub plots that would be left out and if Kirkham was willing to focus almost exclusively on the combat and the competition with little cut scenes in between that would be more like a actual combat video game. It might actually be kind of cool. But instead, he's trying to fuse it too much with a traditional superhero style comic book story and it just doesn't feel comfortable on the page. It's a big and dumb and stupid premise. If he would just write the script to be true to that it would probably be a lot more fun. Read Full Review
