Sep 23, 2026Feral #26 is a character-driven issue which explores Elsie’s insecurities and self-doubt. By examining the character’s anxieties, the reader is able to see Elsie at her most sympathetic and identifiable. Elsie’s feeling that she is not good enough is an all too common feeling for so many of us, and it’s what makes Elsie so relatable and endearing in this issue. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Sep 23, 2026Nevertheless, it's quite dramatic. And it runs the risk of being a little over the top in places. However, it's not very often that this particular series takes a opportunity to look back. It's been one long chase for survival over the course of much of the series. So it's really nice to get a breather like this back over everything that's happened before. At the same time, it's a look ahead. Fleecs and company take a solid close-up on one of the central characters in the ensemble. Her inner emotions are shown in vivid clarity before the series can progress. Read Full Review

Wow! That was a truly intense issue! Not at all what I was expecting! But still one of the best issues of FERAL in a very long time! This was quite enjoyable from a retrospect angle. Reliving many of the major events from throughout the series. This definitely is a great jumping on point for anyone looking to get into this series. I appreciate the special focus given to Elsie’s former housemate, Patch. Highlighting Jonas and Scratch too was also very moving. I definitely enjoyed the reveal of Elsie’s spirit guide. It’s nice to finally see that explained, and it was QUITE a surprise and very satisfying!!
I just wish we could’ve actually seen the shock of what actually happened to Chloe. I guess we’re to just assume that it was far too br more+ Like • Comment
