Having finally arrived at the origin of Cate and Kate, the central pulse of the series is firmly established in the fifth issue of the series. The central mystery of who the characters is a delicate matter in this type of intrigue-based series. Exorsisters grows by leaps and bounds in this issue, laying the groundwork for some major plot points. This isn't just an ancient evil that needs to be vanquished. It's personal to Cate and Kate. There are some nice twists and turns that keeps up the unpredictable nature of this comic. There's a Supernatural flair to it, which is certainly not a bad thing. Read Full Review

Exorsisters #5 successfully ups the ante of the series, while also reminding us of everything that these two sisters have to lose. This series has always had fun with its concept, never taking itself too seriously. This part of the story is a little better than the last one even if I find it less good than the first issue. I trusted that their mother want a revenge, but their it's pretty clear I was wrong about that. So I find it a little weird. Like for the angel still in play after last issue. Cover - I take the wonderfull variant cover, not related to the story. 1/2 Writing - It was not bad, We learn more about cate & Kate. Still not fond of the bad guys. 2/3 Arts - The art is good, but not perfect. Their even strange panel. 2.5/3 Feeling - I would have prefered a mission in each book. I'm not fond of this First Shadow. I'm out next issue. 0/2
