Energon Universe Special 2026 #1 is a strong, stylish, and exciting launchpad for the next phase of the Energon Universe. It is fast where it needs to be, mysterious when it wants to be, and loaded with enough connective tissue to make fans start theorizing like detectives with too much coffee. Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro are not just playing with legacy brands here. They are building a comic book universe with velocity, personality, and real narrative muscle. Pick this one up, strap in, and keep your head on a swivel, because Year Four looks like it came to kick the doors open. Read Full Review

It just seems to me that MASK is taking up space that should be given to the Joes. The next 6 pages were a tight Transformers story, more mood and texture than an actual narrative, but I liked it. The 6 pages after that was where the Void Rivals story fell, it was a nice “bridge” story - but in some ways spoilt the end of the Quintesson War. The final 6 pages were a backstory for something that recently happened in more
