Rhymes With Geek - Denise Blakely

    Dec 16, 2014

In the end of this issue, after all the letters and responses, there's a little blurb that reveals that in the next issue, we will discover that humans are not the dominant species in this world. Oh my! I can't wait to see what kind of creatures await us in the upcoming issues and I'm on the edge of my seat just wondering what they will look like. The Brandon/Klein matchup is glorious and I'll say it one more time, this is one of the best new comics I have picked up in quite some time. Pick up issue one if you haven't already and add Drifter to your pull list, it's worth your time and money. Read Full Review

I read a lot of good books this week, but Drifter surprised me the most. I was ready to write it off, but I'm glad I didn't. I hope that others don't make the mistake I nearly did because this is definitely on my must read monthly list. Read Full Review

Like I said before, I didn't expect the story to take this sort of turn, and I'm surprised at the angle " the first issue kept a steady beat while this second one felt like industrial metal over drum and bass. We're on a journey with Pollux to discover not only his future but his past as well. The story has plenty of impact, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a riddle to solve. Coming Up Comics - David Melton

    Dec 16, 2014

No matter what's really happening, Drifter is a comic that reads great and looks fantastic. Truly an amazing journey that these two creators are taking us on. This character of Pollux is so complex, so human, and it's going to be a blast removing the layers that Brandon and Klein have created. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Matt Little

    Dec 18, 2014

"Drifter" #2 is yet another feather in the cap of Image Comics who have curated a mind-blowing lineup of spectacular sci-fi books in 2014. It's a near-total package and only two issues in is definitely a comic to watch in 2015. Read Full Review
