"THE DEVIL'S DEVIL," Part Two-Wizord, New York City's beloved sorcerous protector (at least that's what he wants you to think) has done something TERRIBLE to the city. It was sort of an accide-no. It was completely on purpose, and now he has to fix it before everything goes to hell. Meanwhile, evil wizards, including Wizord's ex Ruby Stitch, are lining up to take him down. It ain't gonna be pretty-but it's gonna be MAGIC.

Ultimately then, while this latest chapter doesnt quite hit the heights of the first issue, this is still a series that comes highly recommended, with Soule and Browne combining to create something truly unique, from the artwork to the lead character himself. And, providing it can decide whether it's a fantasy with dashes of comedy or a comedy with hints of fantasy, this could wind up becoming something truly special. I'll definitely be sticking around to find out, that's for sure. Read Full Review

Curse Words #2 does a great job keeping up the momentum from Issue #1, and as the plot thickens and more players are introduced, I find myself enjoying this series more and more. Buy Curse Words #2. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Jessica Petrecz

Curse Words #2is a terrific follow-up to the first issue; the art's attention to detail coupled with the rapid pacing of the story, all demonstrate how fun and complex this book is. The character of Wizord is more complex than the hipster beard would lead one to believe. (Side note: It was nice to get confirmation from this book that all magic is attributed to a mans facial hair, something we have all long suspected.) There is a lot of room to grow with this character and infinite stories this team could put out. This issue shows the true potential for Curse Words to be a rewarding, long running series. Soule takes his script to some pretty out there places, and Browne brings an excellent sense of energy to each dangerous situation and humorous set piece. Read Full Review

I'll likely give this series one more issue. It was a decent read. I was entertained, but not enough to look past its flaws which is a shame considering how close to great it is. If a couple of changes were made to this issue I might be writing an entirely different review, but what's there is what's there, and this is where my review stands. Read Full Review

Interesting play on magic and the plot has been developed solidly. This book is better than the sale numbers show. Makes it better for collectors down the road. Low Print run on a Great book!!

The story is progressing nicely in issue two as we get a little bit of backstory as Wizord tries to fix a mistake he made! Some great witty humor and phenomenal neon colored art in this issue! This is one series I'm extremely excited about

I really missed Ryan Browne after the end of that last series he did, something about Astroturf. Now I'm enjoying devouring Carts Wars each and every issue!

This was okay. A come down from the first issue, though. I didn't care for the art, and the story was okay in fits and spurts. I don't know if I'm going to keep going with it. I'm on the fence.

I was really rooting for this one after last month's issue but the dialogue in this was appalling; none of the characters felt genuinely like people (except maybe the koala); the plot and emotional revelations were hackneyed and unearned; and it ended with a cliffhanger that about something I haven't gotten nearly invested enough in yet. All-in-all this was a poor piece of comicry on all fronts and I'd be very hard-pressed to buy the next issue.
