It is obvious that I am a fan. There is no way around it. I honestly think that this series is one of the best, ever. Seriously. The creativity baked into each issue, never ceases to amaze; the pop culture references sprinkled in, keep you on your toes; and the forethought has an aroma that instills trust in the process, creative team and project as a whole. This done-in-one continuation of the current stroyarc is a testament to the strength of the world Layman and Guillory have created. The book's protagonist is absent, the explored concepts are new, and we're following it through secondary characters, but it all feels right. This series has become far more than its catch opening premise, and I'm mighty thankful for that. Read Full Review

To be perfectly honest, I don't really have any complaints for this book. It doesn't hit the highs of some series I've read, but everything that it does it does very well. Chew #24 is overall a really solid book. Be forewarned that this book is not without language and gore, but, if that doesn't bother you, then it's hard not to recommend. If you read the series, then you know the score, but for newcomers, I encourage you to give this one a shot. Read Full Review
