You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Oct 14, 2026Vellani is a really fun writer to hang out with on the page. There are interesting things being things being juxtaposed conceptually between crime, desire, fame, and a whole bunch of other things that mingle on the page. There may not be a whole lot of deeper insights that are coming to the page just yet. However, a hard boiled detective mystery that also serves as a coming-of-age story for the main character really feels like it breaking new ground in some sense. It's a lot of fun. Read Full Review
