You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

Given the way, this series started, it didn't necessarily seem like it was going to be going in a direction that was going to be nearly as beautiful and deeply weird as it has. There's a lot of deeply interesting fanatic exploration going on in the course of the series that feels remarkably well articulated. Blood & Thunder #9 is a great conclusion to a side mission that at times felt like a head scratcher. COMICON - Tom Smithyman

    Jan 12, 2026

This series continues its bizarre habit of ending issues in what feels like an unplanned way. It’s almost as if the creative team ran out of pages and didn’t want to redo their work. If you’re into issues about big battle, this one has a lot of killing, though the illustrations aren’t as strong as they have been. Read Full Review
