  Given the way, this series started, it didn't necessarily seem like it was going to be going in a direction that was going to be nearly as beautiful and deeply weird as it has. There's a lot of deeply interesting fanatic exploration going on in the course of the series that feels remarkably well articulated.   Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

  Blood & Thunder #9 is a great conclusion to a side mission that at times felt like a head scratcher. However, this finale was done very well and with some really cool and meaningful acts that will surely play out later in the series. The artwork has always been the strong suit in this series, but the story really shines in this issue as well. As we will more than likely be on our way to a new planet next issue, it is an exciting time to jump into this series. Read Full Review

  This series continues its bizarre habit of ending issues in what feels like an unplanned way. It’s almost as if the creative team ran out of pages and didn’t want to redo their work.
