    What continues to be the most remarkable thing about Black Cloak is its immersiveness. It isnt just Thomspons sharply-realized urban fantasy world...it isnt just the fact that McClaren has a brilliant sense of design for fashion and architecture. Its also the fact that the color and the dialogue and the perspectives and the central emotionality of it all come together in a way that feels very real...even in a world of monsters and humanoids flying around the place with leathery wings.  Read Full Review

    The return to Kiros doesnt misstep in another excellent read. Thompsons writing orchestrates the drama while the danger looms all around. The stunning visuals by McClaren continue to impress as the direction takes another turn. Its high storytelling at its peak level. Read Full Review
