    Horror DNA - James Ferguson

Artifacts continues to be an epic comic dealing with very real human emotions.  There are also giant monsters that would make the worms in Tremors cry.  Progeny is just getting started here, but it's looking to be a very painful journey for some of these characters.  Some things are unforgivable and others are just too despicable to even comprehend.  Jackie is walking a fine line between the two. Overall, Artifacts #25 has a bit of a broken pace and is rushed in certain areas. As far as introducing the Progeny crossover event, it is a success, easily convincing readers to pick up the next issue of Witchblade which follows this epic story. The art in this issue saves it from being mediocre, being the main reason to consider buying it. Crossover events are probably a tough sell for a lot of comic readers, but if your wallet can abide, it's not hard to suggest this event to fans of fantasy and awesomeness. Read Full Review

All of this being said, Artifacts is still at the very least fun to read. I wouldn't pick Artifacts #25 up if you were looking for a really meaningful comic book experience. However, if you've been reading Artifacts and you've felt like it was time for something to actually happen, the story does finally start moving along. Read Full Review
