    Bergen is stretching his chops here and has partnered with some solid talent on art. With no color to help differentiate the stories and styles, each artist comes with their own flare and there is no confusion or overlap to be seen. With an anthology book, the risk is incredibly lowered for readers giving the book a try and failing to find something to love. There are six stories here and each succeeds, some impressively so.     Rhymes With Geek - Ben Penfold-Marwick

    This comic feels very underground in that its not perfect and shiny, but sometimes thats what you want. To be honest, perfect and shiny might ruin the mood. These short tales are unlike anything else Ive read, even within the noir comic book genre, so if you are fan of Fatale, Sin City, or any other notable noir books, this is worth a pick up to see something different.     Black-White isn't one thing or the other. It's somewhere between good and bad. I see some shades of light in the comic where there is plenty of potential. But there are too many things dragging it down to warrant a true thumbs up. On the other hand, it's available for a dollar for this week only, and that's worth it for a 28-page book, especially if you're a sucker for hard crime. Read Full Review
