AIPT - Sean M. Thompson
Dec 11, 2013After being fairly underwhelmed with Thumbprint, and less so though still underwhelmed with the second to last issue of Locke and Key, Sean thought himself over the Hill. But with Wraith, things have taken a decidedly darker turn. In this second issue we get prisoners, and the banter is just delightfully obscene. Comic Bastards - James Anders II
Dec 11, 2013Joe Hill's script likewise loses some of the creepiness found previously, but each word of this story is building on something. What that something is? We don't quite know or even understand. But like the masterful writer that Hill is, he is building, brick by brick, introducing characters and developing a story that appears to be aiming for nightmarish soul sucking horror with real world blood and guts crime as well. This is a journey that we might not want to take, but with Hill driving and Wilson riding shotgun, we are in store for a fun ride. I know that I am enjoying it thus far. You should too. Comics: The Gathering - mahargen
Dec 11, 2013Even without the Christmasland aspect, this was a fun story. Easily something that would be at home in a book of Hill's short stories. In the comic medium it exceeds the previous wordy installment. I'm a completist and I really enjoy Hill's work with IDW. I'm in for the duration. Read Full Review
