Read Comic Books - Tommy Lutz
Sep 25, 2012I can't recommend this comic to Transformers fans enough. It was a fun and exciting read that opened up a new avenue for new readers and made today's comics relevant to return readers. I know it's only an annual, but it was done right. If the rest of the series reads and looks as good as this issue, it is worth the price of purchase for anyone interested in Transformers comics. Comic Book Resources - James Hunt
Oct 01, 2012Admittedly, the book isn't a perfect proposition as a stand-alone story -- it's heavily rooted in the political wrangling of the ongoing series and narrated by a character who only appeared in Japanese cartoons -- but that doesn't make it impossible to follow. It's even a rare example of an annual that justifies the increased space. Only IDW's frankly painful pricing lets it down in any substantial way.
