Entertainment Fuse - Sean Elks
Feb 20, 2012Having been disappointed with IDW's Transformers franchise since Transformers: All Hail Megatron ended, Transformers: Robots in Disguise is a very welcome change. The intelligent and character-driven conflict is has brewing is a definite upswing in terms of story, and the potential for more developments is so rich that I can't help but to want to keep reading to see what happens next. Jan 29, 2012It's tough to say which of the two Transformers relaunches is stronger, but such difficulty definitely stems from them being equally different takes on the same material, in much the same way as the two X-Men titles differ. In this case, I perhaps favor the wackier, less straightforward take, but it's understandable that some might not. With each as technically strong as the other, Transformers fans are spoiled for choice. Read Full Review

Jan 10, 2012There is potential in Transformers: Robots in Disguise #1. Is there enough to bring me back for another issue? Perhaps, but just barely. I know it's weird to say about a franchise that's all about cars and jets turning into robots fighting each other, but slow things down a little. Give the story a chance to grow.
