The thrilling conclusion to the saga that started in Transformers (2019) #1! The Decepticons have the upper hand. Cybertron is falling. And Optimus Prime has an imploder-possibly the most dangerous Cybertronian-built weapon in history-to his head. This is the Autobots last stand. But what does triumph look like in a desperate situation? The War for Cybertron may end here, but the Autobots and Decepticons aren't done yet!

Transformers: Fate of Cybertron does what it needs to. It wraps up the current volume in a nice package delivering the hope that Optimus and the Autobots represent. There's quite a bit here, including the Imploder (keeping some of the Autobots at bay) that aren't really explained for someone jumping in at the end. That said, we do get Prime vs. Megatron one more time as well as a big battle between the Autobots and Decepticons allowing the Autobots to flee and begin life again on a new home. The oversized issue isn't an ultimate conclusion to Transformers, but does work fine as an end to this chapter of their adventures. Read Full Review
