Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman
Jul 16, 2013This micro-series issue accomplishes exactly what it set out to do: prove Alopex is an interesting character and worthy of her own issue. Before reading this, I wasn't sold all that much on the mutant, but a tight script, strong plot developments and solid visuals have made me do a total 180. If you're digging the current TMNT stuff, you definitely need to pick this up. Based on this chapter, it seems clear she may play a bigger role as 'City Fall' continues. Read Full Review

Jul 17, 2013The story went by quick. All of these villain one shot have but in this case I craved more. The last few lines we read from Alopex is crazy! She is in for a rough future. I hope the ending leads to a story in the TMNT comic. It can't leave me wondering like that. Alopex could certainly have some interesting stories between her and Shedder involving her own vendetta. In my opinion, this has been my favorite villain background yet. Next is Karai which I think will be just as interesting; women always are. Read Full Review

Jul 16, 2013Again, like Old Hob, Alopex is an IDW original character. Its great to get some backstory into characters that we know very little about. Brian Lynch makes both Alopex and Shredder very compelling and Ross Campbells artwork is fantastic. This issue has quite a bit going for it, so TMNT fans following the IDW Turtles should be very pleased. Read Full Review

Razorfine - Alan Rapp
Jul 24, 2013Given we know so little about the character this issue should appeal to fans, and the dark turn it takes involving the arctic fox's former home hopefully foreshadows a crisis on conscience for the character that we could see played out over several months (if not years). Worth a look. Read Full Review
