  I'm glad this series is back as an ongoing. It's better so far than the mini was too. They picked a unique way to start with a Rat King adventure where he loses his ability to control rats, but becomes able to control the Turtles instead. It leaves off on a pretty exciting cliffhanger, leaving me eager for the next part. Few comics do that for me anymore. I hope this series sticks around for a good while as it's the best Turtle series I've read since the old Archie one that started out based on the cartoon, but later went in its own unique direction, but stayed true to this part of the franchise. I'm rapidly losing interest in DC and totally gave up on Marvel over a year ago. So it's good to have some comics free of the woke and politica l hodgepodge that's ruining the big two. As long as this series stays true to the series it's based on it should continue to be a fun ride. more
