Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter #1

Balancing one ensemble cast can be difficult enough. Combining two distinctly unique sets of characters and merging them into a complimentary chorus while jump starting a riveting story that could easily feel stale is truly a challenge. That challenge was accepted and achieved by the creative team behind the first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter. If you are a Turtle or Street Fighter fan, then you are going to be happy with this new series. Everything you love about these two properties is laid out perfectly. Fighting, joking, with a story that will lead to the need of some turtle detective work is what I call the perfect Turtle story. Read Full Review

Honestly, there's not really too much to get excited about here at least not yet. Sure, Medel and Myer do an impressive job with the artwork, but as far as the story is concerned this feels about as generic as you could imagine at this point. I'm hopeful that things get a little more creative as the series unfolds, but for the time being this is already starting to feel like a bit of a missed opportunity. Read Full Review

The story is straight forward and set immediately. The character interactions seem genuine and fun. First issue shows promise and over all it's just a fun crossover series.
