Big Comic Page - Connor Stephens
Aug 08, 2018Optimus Prime #22 is a must read for anyone who has followed this book and the Unicron event as a whole. Filling in and adding so many subtle nuances to the event would be enough, but with the return of its full roster and an all-new narrative beginning alongside the main event, this series now promises to deliver a fitting finale in-and-of-itself. That fact that all this happens with an incredible artistic team ensures that this issue was always guaranteed to be a hit. Read Full Review

Flickering Myth - Ricky Church
Aug 18, 2018Overall,Optimus Prime #22is a bit of a step down as Barber uses the story to connect the dots to IDW's main event rather than focusing on the character moments or moral dilemmas they face. It would have been stronger if Barber focused more on those character interactions, but he still wrote each character consistently. With IDW ending their universe in just a short couple of months, hopefully the quality ofOptimus Prime's final issues will deliver more satisfying stories. Read Full Review
