Jun 28, 2017Though the two manners of artwork are in stark comparison to each other, they each imbue a different effect for this comic, and diving feet first into either would be an excellent choice. Doom Rocket - Stefania Rudd

Stacey Lee and Jen Hickman both take on art chores, different styles that become compatible through Sarah Stern's gorgeous hues. Jun 28, 2017Jem and the Holograms: Infinite#1 starts strong with the fierce artwork ofSilk‘s Stacey Lee, but then it becomes merely average when Jen Hickman takes over in the back half. Most of Kelly Thompson's story is resetting the rival dynamic between the Holograms and Misfits and then pouring a whole can of multiversal science fiction into the mix. Bleeding Cool - Lacey Jackson
Jun 27, 2017First issues are always difficult, and it's possible that the pacing issue will work itself out, but rushing is definitely a concern, given how few issues are going to be included in this miniseries. Despite that, I'm tentatively excited to see where it goes. What kind of Jem adventure are we going to get? As long as it's not that YouTube-fueled monstrosity of movie, I think we'll be okay.
