Comics: The Gathering - Nathan Koffler
Feb 14, 2018As I believe the early Goosebumps books and TV show were great introductions to horror for me as a young child, I believe that these comic books can easily do that for kids of the younger generation that may have not had an older sibling or something to lend them some hand-me-down Goosebump books. It has all of the elements you want in kid-friendly horror media: adventure, scary characters, situations that may seem hopeless, and main characters who are strong enough to escape any trouble they find themselves in. Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson
Feb 13, 2018Overall this first three-issue story arc for the Goosebumps comic series feels like a success. The only major problem would be that I do not like it coming out in single issues. When the three issues are combined it feels just like a Goosebumps book that would be great for kids, but being split up into three single issues the story kind of flounders. That is really the only downside and I really think this will sell great to kids as a collected story instead of in single issues. Read Full Review
